More than deserving of the recognition, Mike Zaremba, PGA, Director of Golf at Desert Hawk, is the recipient of the 2018 Colorado PGA REACH Foundation Youth Development Pillar Award. A 36-year veteran in the golf community and a 27-year mainstay in the Pueblo market, Zaremba has experienced many changes in the world of golf. His most recent perception…there are many more young golfers coming to the course.

PGA Member Paul Hebinch Awarded Military Pillar Award - 4/15/2018

The Supporting Our Military Pillar Award Winner for 2018 is Paul Hebinck, PGA, Manager of Golf at Buffalo Run Golf Course. What Hebinck started as a community program at Buffalo Run to engage those in Commerce City connected to the military has, in just its second year, transformed into one of seven Colorado PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) Chapters.

The opening ceremonies of the 2017 Colorado PGA REACH Invitational held great pomp and circumstance with a backdrop of the majestic Pikes Peak, the presentation of the colors by the Fort Carson Mounted Color Guard, the singing of the national anthem and the awarding of a mortgage-free home to a deserving wounded veteran.
